AR Manager is operated by Mintbyte Solutions ("we", "us"), based in Lusaka, Zambia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have. We handle data in line with Zambia's Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021.
It covers people who create or use an AR Manager account (our customers and their team members), and the contact details of the customers' own clients that are entered into the system (client records). If your business uses AR Manager, you are the data controller of your client records and we are your data processor.
We do not collect payment-card details, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
To provide and secure the service: run your receivables ledger, send reminder and password-reset emails you trigger, prevent abuse, maintain the audit trail, and contact you about your account or support requests.
We use a single sign-in token stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Your data is stored in Cloudflare's D1 database and served through Cloudflare's global network, encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We use a small number of sub-processors:
These providers may process data on servers outside Zambia; we rely on their security and contractual safeguards for such transfers.
Your ledger data is yours. We access it only to run the service, support you, or as required by law. You can export your data at any time from within the app.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete records in-app, and you may ask us to delete your account and its data — we will do so within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations. Automatic 30-day point-in-time backups exist for recovery and then age out.
Subject to the Data Protection Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
We protect data with HTTPS everywhere, hashed-and-salted passwords, strict per-account data isolation, login rate-limiting, security headers, and an append-only audit log. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of any material breach as required by law.
AR Manager is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
We may update this policy; we will change the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
